I have been doing the Jumpstart challenge. Day 5 was for abs. Coach Nicole talked about,"sucking in abs like preparing for a sock to the stomache." and "feeling the back strengthen and support the abs with the lower back. "
So here is your Challenge:
While in public (anywhere) try to pull in your abs and pull back and down your shoulders.
Then tighten your lower back/glutes to support your abs.
After a few minutes, when you can do it without full concentration,
Lift up your head and do a self check.
Do you feel better? Taller? More confident? Like smiling?
Walk for a bit like this and notice how you interact with others while working your abs.
Then actually search out the reaction to you.
It proves many things.
First That confidence comes from within.
Second That you can be confident at any weight.
Third That people respond to positive/confident people no matter what size or circumstance.
