Good Morning, everyone!
Yesterday was another great day. I ate well, got in TONS of water and did the Biggest Loser Calorie Knockout DVD. I started using 5lb dumb bells, but ending switching to 3lbs. I will probably alternate in the future bc there are some sections that require only one dumb bell and I can handle a heavier weight then. Here are my thoughts:
1) Anna is TERRIBLE!!! Her section was so annoying. She didn't count reps or sets and she was dull, dull, dull. She barely talked and it seemed like that they had to do voice overs with her, bc they would zoom in on a contestant and then her voice would come over with instructions or encouragement that just didn't sound natural.
2) Bob is always great. His section was pretty tough, but it was a great workout. He incorporates cardio, ST and yoga. Very well done.
3) Dolvett is HOTTTTTTTTTTT! I could look at him all day, but he is no joke. He does a circuit called Tabata, which means you do one exercise for 20 seconds and then rest for 10 seconds, then do another exercise for 20 seconds and recover for 10 seconds and so on. It was fun but a little tough on my knees (lots of squats). I just adjusted and focused on Dolvett, who again, is HOOOTTTTTTT!
4) I enjoyed the warm up and cool down sections. Easy, but effective.
All in all a decent DVD. I worked up a good sweat and my heart rate was high. I will probably skip Anna's section in the future.
On tap for today is a two mile walk/run in 1:1 intervals either in my neighborhood or the park. Rest day is tomorrow and I'm not gonna lie, I'm going to enjoy it. I have been working really hard and really utilizing my Fitbook. It really makes a huge difference in my day.
