Had a pretty good day yesterday!
Went to yoga and saw my instructor, Kim, who I havent seen in weeks! I was MIA from the studio for about 2 weeks and when I got back she was away for the week at Kripalu training with Yoganand! She was glowing when I walked in. Id like to visit Kripalu some day, it obviously has an amazing effect on people. =-P
I ate pretty well yesterday. I started to pack up some food and Dan heard me counting calories... he asked me not to because he knows how I get, we then talked about how if Im eating mostly healthy foods I shouldnt worry so much about the calories, just listen to my body.
So yesterday I had:
a light and fit yogurt
1/2 pint of hot and sour soup
weight watchers string cheese
a tiny bit of low fat ice cream (about 1/4 of our junior size- just to satisfy cravings =-P)
Gnocchi, broccoli, and light alfredo sauce
3 donut holes =-X
So... not too bad! Im happy with the day.
Woke up "early" this morning (7:30) and did a little stretching, Im really sore from yesterday. It's amazing how different instructors make different muscles hurt. It's a good hurt though lol
So I didnt really do a workout this morning, but I started laundry, and plan to clean the kitchen before work... so Im being productive! And I'll be cleaning at work all day... the inspector is supposed to be coming at some point in the next week.
Tomorrow morning I'll be going to my morning yoga again! And then Saturday too! We have a staff meeting at 10am this Saturday, so if I go to morning yoga then I can go to the meeting directly after, which means NO EXCUSES! =-P And I'd really like to go to the Yin/Yang yoga on Sunday. Squee! Excited to get back into things... now just waiting for my body to get used to it again =-)
I need to go grocery shopping for weekend foods tonight. Dan and I agreed that Friday is still Fat Friday. We plan to order some food from "The Burger Joint" I love their burgers and sweet potato fries! =-X They have great veggie burgers and it's a little mom and pop shop owned by a young couple, so we like to support them. So I'll be good during the day then we'll have that. Then I'll pick healthier options of junk food for the weekend. We found some thin crust frozen pizzas that aren't horribly bad for us and we like them, maybe some baked chips, low fat cheese and crackers, and grapes? hmmmm. =-D
