In addition to my other wise know vices, I have one I just know one day is setting up to bite me in the proverbial you know where- I love to buy things on Ebay (mostly tools and test equipment / telecom equipment). I just had to back out a a sale that I had bid on a cable knife I didn't really need (but I bid on anyway ). I got it for 99 cents- the kicker was that the guy wanted almost TEN BUCKS to mail it from the states!!! I tried to get him to just put it into a padded envelope ( I got a chesivale tone and probe from England and the guy charged me a couple of quid for postage). Well I fired off a couple of emails to the gu , the last one explaining that I doubted very much he was making money off of the transaction so he cancelled it, thinking about it today I guess I could have just gone ahead with it but I get too much grief from someone (good thing she only knows about HALF of the stuff I got HE HE - guess I better make sure I don't die first!!!).
