Day 1 of the rest of my life!!!!

First attempt at blogging on here!!!! emoticon
Last night I was inspired by The Biggest Loser and their motto this season of "no excuses." I realized that I have run out of them!!!!!! emoticon
Got up this morning at 5 a.m. and jumped on the treadmill - 23 1/2 minutes of fast walking, 1 1/2 minute of running (I was out of breath and dying by the time I had only 20 seconds to go LOL) and 1 minute of cool down. WHOO HOO! I did it! emoticon
Traded my Toaster Strudel for a small bowl of Cheerios and traded my little bit of coffee with cream and sugar for a bottle of water!!
Let's just see if I can keep this up! I'm excited but that excitement has a tendency to burn out easily!!!
Spark Friends - PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS AND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP THOSE WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT IN MY EARS!!! I so desperately need them!
DH lost his job at the end of 2011 and we are back in our financial struggles just when we were making headway in getting out of the prior year's financial struggles!!! I'm so tired and so stressed and so D@#N tired of being stressed! I know I cannot let those excuses keep me from achieving my weight loss goals!!!

Your off to a great start. My daughter is my inspiration because I want to be her role model. We're on this journey together. You are definitely not alone.

You are off to a wonderful start dear friend. You take each day and say I will do it for today for this meal and those meals and days add up to big changes. You owe it not only to yourself but to your family to be healhier. Cannot wait to hear how GREAT you are doing each day. Keep in touch. I am cheering you along. Much love, Pat

Good for you changing your breakfast food. Every little bit counts! And the exercise will definitely help in the whole weight loss equation.
Keep up the good work! emoticon

Exercise is a great stress relief and will help you ease some of your worries. I hope your DH finds something soon.
Remember change little things at a time, if you change too much too quickly you will burn out and go back to old habits. The point of the program is to slowly change your lifestyle for the good and the long run. :)
