well even over 40 years of checking food plans after new years hasn't change.
What is interesting and reassuring this time is that I discovered a food plan which answers many questions for me.
I looked into something called beyond diet - though there are items I don't want to participate in I do like the rationalization for the following food plan
Breakfast - 3 proteins , 1 carb (which includes fruits and veg)
Snack - 3 protein , 1 carb
lunch 5 protein 1 carb, 2 fat
snack 3 protein 1 carb
dinner 5 protein 1 carb 2 fat
this framework appears to make more sense to me, so I'll let you know how this works out. It uses common sense with food combination that hopefully will sustain me longer with no sudden rise or drop of insulin. Let's see:0)
