I have been away from the site for about a week because I needed to take the time to assess what is really important to me. I had to look at my visibility board and ask myself - are these things just nice things to have and to do or are these things reflective of my core values and my true heart's desires? I am a goal setter! But I had to take time to review my goals and ask myself if I was focusing my time, effort and energy on the things that really matter or was I just spending time. Am I partaking in activities that are helping me to grow and move towards my long-term goals or am I just "talking the talk".

I realize that if I am not intentional about applying all of the principals and knowledge that I have learned through my year on the site then I am not investing in a strategy to improve my health, I am not committed to reducing my weight and increasing my joy. Instead, I am just spending time - a hamster on a wheel.

Realizing this, I had to take an inventory and I had to make some hard decisions. Once I made these decisions, I needed to write down my plan and put them into action. I have started making these adjustments with and ALL OF YOU as my companions. Today, I claim victory. Keep reading my blog for the decisions I've made AND for the success I will achieve in 2012.

#1 GOAL: Out of the 200+ club before my birthday. The counter says August 17th but I am going to work hard and achieve that goal before my birthday (August 9). Watch me disappear!

    You can do it. I lost 24.1kgs in 10 months and now working on the next 20kgs this year. I'm not even 100%..there is no such thing. I work well and hard all week long, but Fridays is my "cheat day" which I eat cinnamin buns or whatever and Saturday I always go to the farmers market where I eat a schwarma. I have still lost weight with the 90% rule. But truthfully even the 10% rule will work...just slower.

    I recently had to do the same thing about the direction I have been on. Sometimes I think we become busy doing, so busy that what we doing is not as effective as it could be if we focused on what we are truly wanting to achieve. I am glad you have taken the time to refocus and ready to take to path of successs. Good luck to you---you can do it.
