This is not a New Year's Resolution, but desire to change some of the eating habits that I have let fall by the wayside. My weight has been increasing over the past few months and I want to get back to my 'fighting' weight.
I spent the morning rereading parts of my Dash Diet book and planning my week's menu to allow for a daily plan consisting of 4 servings of fruits, 4 servings of vegetables, a 1200 cal. per day plan, a maximum of 1000 mg of sodium and an attempt at increasing my potassium intake to 4500 mg (something that I find very difficult). I deliberately created a general menu that I can adjust day by day as needed.
