ARGH! Can you believe I messed up my goal and it's barely the new year?

Yeah, I wanted to start out right with getting 6-7 hrs of sleep and then work my way up to 8. Well it's 6:08am and I'm just getting in bed. All I did was read the paper and my new Swimming magazine after a later than normal SNL show. I even skipped the party I had planned on attending.

I've seen articles that say we need more than 4-4.5 hours to not be obese. I have as hard a time getting in bed as I do not binging on carbs. They're probably intertwined. Along with other problems, I am close to the edge of saying forget it.

Sure hope to catch something positive. Good "night" all.

    I have a hard time sleeping and probably drink too much coffee. It gets worse as I get older but hey, you can't afford to let one mess up throw you off the whole course. As Nell says, none of us are ever going to hit 100% every day but don't let that stop you from trying!

    There is no way you can have a long list of goals and achieve them all at once. I'd say start with the food and move out from there, One Day At A Time. If your goal is the Day, you can succeed each and every day.

    I can definitely relate. But of course we can't give up.
I don't when the last time was that I got a good night's sleep. Health issues keep me tossing and turning and waking up all night.
