So it's after 9pm on New Years Eve. The last few hours of 2011 is upon us, and it's time to think about the previous year and gear up for the next.
I am five days away from my

and although the scale hasn't moved to where I was hoping, I can't look back and change it - I have to accept my past. learn from it; live each moment of the present and make my future better by doing both of those.
I am officially down 20 pounds from this time in 2010, which is nothing to boast about - but like I said in a previous blog, I have learned what I need to do in order to be a success.
Here are a few things that I want to do in 2012:
-Lose weight on a consistent basis by:
-Planning meals and watching portion sizes
-Tracking everything on a regular basis, and being concious about having to track it!
-Continue the track of training with Kyle
-Step up my cardio instead of doing 90% ST/Circuit training
Why?
Instead of making this blog a long, drawn out story about everything, I am keeping it plain and simple. This is my blog to look back on and reflect on ALL YEAR LONG. Keeping my goals in front of me, not let one bad choice start a domino effect, ask for support when I need it, and put myself before others this year!
I NEED TO BE FIRST IN MY LIFE IN ORDER TO BE THERE FOR OTHER PEOPLE!
Johnny Depp was a bit vulgar, but that's OK with me:
I NEED TO BE THE DIRECTOR OF MY OWN DESTINY.
One more note to bring in the new year: 2012 is my year for massive change. I don't want to be SKINNY, and I know I won't ever be a model, but this image really brings it all together for me.
Happy 2012, Spark Friends!
