Post Holiday Blues

Friday, December 30, 2011

Well, my Christmas holiday didn't go exactly as I had planned. Being that this was our first Christmas without my mother I knew that things would be hard and emotional. I wasn't prepared for a one week melt down filled with uncontrollable emotional eating, followed by a week of being sick....bronchitis, sinus infection and double ear infection....yuck!!!!

I'm here today though to say that I am back and retaking control of my life. I am not 100% percent healthy, but feeling much better than I have in a week. Finally got out of bed yesterday and got out of the house and did some grocery shopping. It was time to fill the fridge back up with fresh fruits and veggies again. Today I will be cleaning said house...three pre-teens can take a toll on a clean house in a weeks time...and I will be heading to the gym today. I plan on taking it slow this first week back into my routine, but some exercise will do me good.

One thing I know is time heals all wounds and with time and God all things are possible. Have a great New Year everyone and looking forward to a great 2012!!!!

Smile sweety because your momma can still see your beautiful smile. It's time for me to do things the healthy way also. Lots of fruits and veggies are in my future. Have a wonderful day my friend.
