I used to be FAT

Friday, December 30, 2011

Just a quicky here. It's Friday, the day before NYE and I feel great. It's only been a few days of clean eating and increased exercise but I am feeling so much better already. I don't feel bloated or fat. I'm making better food choices and getting more exercise. I tried to run last night but just wasn't feeling up to it. Being that it was day 3 of the start of my running, I recognized that my legs needed a recovery so I stopped after 10 minutes.

The title of the blog is actually the title of a silly MTV show about young people who are overweight and get 110 days with a personal trainer to get in shape. It's actually pretty motivating because I can see where they are and relate it to myself and I see how hard they work and what they go through to drop the pounds. It is exactly what I did 2 years ago (minus the PT) and it definitely works. Sweat and proper nutrition is the ONLY way to lose the weight and get in shape.

Anyway, what's going on with you? Do you have big plans for tomorrow? I was planning a "Daddy's Only NYE Party" with some friends but most of them backed out...Boo~. No big deal actually because I would have drank way too much and felt like crap on New Years Day. I have a couple of friends coming over so there will still be beer but not in copious amounts.

So that's pretty much it for me. I'm feeling great, I'm working hard and I'm so ready for the new year.

LET'S DO THIS!!!

Happy New Year! I worked New Years Eve (midnight shift). It was very busy. I wasn't too happy about working, but at least I have a job.
