I have just a moment but I wanted to share that I did w/o extra calories yesterday, starting what I call a Reset. Today is day 2 and I woke up feeling perky, and much better physically.
I watched the Dr. Doctors earlier today and was really imspired to grab ahold of "SparkPeople" and not let go! 2011 was the year I let go of WW one more time, only because of the cost. I asked John to buy me a new scale and as the Fall season showed, I weighed myself to get a better idea of where I was in addition to how my clothes felt.
My clothes felt tight and unsightly. I can't wear sweats to work but I can keep an eye on what I'm eating, how much, and when I'm eating. This revelation is no surprise, I just kept trying to do it by myself.
So instead of making a New Year's resolution or going on a diet, I decided yesterday to let go of eating so much and follow the reset belly diet in my new Prevention. I tweeked it to fit me (I'm 62 after all), and woke up feeling better than yesterday, not so sluggish.
I'm grabbing ahold of the only thing I know to do, and I'm not letting go! So I'm not usually into giving advice but if you are younger than me, and you are on the road to a healthier lifestyle, don't let go of it. Trust me...it's much easier when you get older.
