I've finally started the post-baby training for the January 2013 Disney half marathon. I've done two training sessions on the road - one with baby & stroller, one without. Without is 2minutes per mile faster! And adding the ~40 pounds of pushing baby, stroller, car seat and diaper bags makes even the smallest hill a challenge. I won't need to specifically hill train this year!
And today it's the coldest day of the year so far and I didn't want the baby to have prolonged exposure to the cold so I hopped on the elliptical during nap time. It kicked my butt completely but I at least logged 10 minutes.
I'm hoping for to log 2-2.5 miles this weekend, and maybe sneak in another shorter walk tomorrow as it's going to be warm. We'll see!
Now I just need to find some 5Ks this spring to give myself some medium-term goals.
