This past year has been a blur: purchase of land, designing and constructing a new home, selling our town property, packing and moving our "stuff" into storage for 4 months, living in a small rental and then ultimately a 30' trailer with an over active 70 pound dog until mid November, then moving into our new home and beginning to unpack as we finished painting and getting ready for Christmas. Over the winter we will install interior trim and then with Spring will tackle landscaping.
Lots of exercise including 3 long walks daily with the dog and certainly stress have burned off 8 pounds. I still have to find my weights and get back to lifting on a regular basis. Eating has been haphazard with more than a few frozen pizzas and cold beers but I am slowly getting back to a primal diet now that we have proper appliances again.
I've missed all my Spark teams and friends, thanks for your messages. WE ALL CAN DO THIS- HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
Have always wanted to buy property and build our dream house. Takes guts to live in a trailrt home with a huge dog!! Good for you for losing weright while doing it. OMG, you inspire me. 1846 days ago
I have thought of you so often and your new home sounds idyllic. I understand all too well the chaos that moving brings, but you sound like you are in such a great place now!! Little by little you are picking away at it and it sounds fabulous!
Woo hoo! Sounds like it has been steady, tough, but so worth it! I am hoping to visit Mahone Bay this summer with my DH visiting a wonderful friend. I also hope to be under 200 pounds by then! Got to get busy! Hugs, Justyna 1974 days ago
So glad to hear from you, I was contemplating a drive to the valley to make sure you were okay, lol then thought I don't remember the spark mail where she told me directions lol I am glad you are in the house and now have the winter to do what needs to be done before tackling the outside. Enjoy and know it will all come together. HUGS 1977 days ago
