Quitters never quit! We; well I just seem to do the pause button! Still I am back and going to give it another round. I know I can make the changes needed to my lifestyle and make them habit. I have done well in I can now proudly say I am not an addict to Dr. Pepper. I was a year ago. I could not go a day without 1 well more like 3 to 6 soda’s a day. I hated water and would go days without even a sip of water other than to brush my teeth. Now I can go days even a week without the Dr. Pepper! Yeah go me!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have learned to drink water with crystal light in it and actually love it. So I have made a life style change and it has become a habit. No more headaches for missing the caffeine from the drink. I no longer order the hash browns with my breakfast. I am eating more grilled and less fried food. I have learned to keep the junk food out of the house and to keep on hand nuts for munching on. They are small steps but in reality they are HUGE steps as they were changes to a poor lifestyle that have become habits for me now. So I am back and ready to work on some more habits--- like spending 30 minutes a day at night in the fitness room either on the bike or the treadmill until its habit or routine for me. Dr. Oz once said it takes 10 days to change your taste buds into liking a new food and 30 days to change your mindset.
