Well after trying several other approaches, I realized that my best success has been here on Spark People. The support of my Spark friends, the nutrition and fitness trackers and the great resources help to keep me focused. Also, as many of you know, that Spark Wheel is a great motivator.
2012 is the year that I will make it happen! I am setting small daily goals as a way to keep my efforts manageable. I see this as critical as I became very discouraged over the past six months. I felt like my efforts were not making a difference. But I've discovered that being active and eating healthfully are essential to just maintaining my current weight.
So first short term goal - losing the 5 pound gain I had while away from Spark People.
