Countdown to 2012

I feel so positive about 2012. I am not one to make resolutions, yet this year I don't even feel the need to do so. I am hopeful that I can make the changes I need to make because 2012 is going to be my year! I have never felt so optimistic about a calendar change! It just feels RIGHT.

On January 2nd I start a 28-day elimination diet that I'm very excited to do. It's wheat free, sugar free, caffeine and alcohol free and vegan. I'll still be participating in my weekly GTS Jump Board PIlates class as well as power yoga. Most people lose weight on this diet, but that is not my primary goal, I just want to give my body a break, let it heal from the stress of the holidays, and see if I have any food sensitivities. Sometimes it can take up to 60 days to do this diet because if I have any reactions to foods, I have to scale it back and try the foods again along each stage. It's not really that restrictive though, from the third day I can eat brown rice and cooked vegetables, two food groups I eat all the time anyway.

I'm still trying to figure out how this diet works. I don't see any specific pan except for the phases list. Where do the smoothies come in? In the blog it talks about 2 days of a smoothie fast but I don't see a day by day plan. Am I missing something?
