Mini goal rewards

The last time around when I lost weight, I wasn't in a good financial situation to find mini rewards I could afford. This time, with a career and some money under my belt, I'm happy I can make some really good mini rewards that I really want. So, I have been sitting here trying to decide what these rewards should be. I know what I want my final goal reward(s) to be, but the small ones along the way are a little more challenging since I don't know how often I should have a reward. I don't want to have them TOO often or each step won't seem as "great" in my mind although I know any weight loss will be a reward in itself.

My final goal is going to be a professional photo shoot and vacation. That gives me time to save for these things as well. I want to show off my new self. Some of the small goal rewards I have are a spa day, massage, new outfits, new haircuts, a nice piece of jewelry, and some new furiture. However, these are still all pretty big things. I need some nice small rewards to buy up to the bigger ones.

Does anyone have any ideas of what some good mini rewards would be and at what point in my weight loss it would be good to put a reward? Thanks!

    Well, I enjoy the outdoors, movies, computer games, shopping, buying new things for my apartment, and photography amoungest other things too. But I really think that some of the things I don't enjoy right now I will enjoy as I start to lose weight like massages. So I have put a massage and/or spa day as my 170 pound mark reward. I want to do something big for my 200 pound mark reward too. I think I will do a shopping spree at that mark. I need smaller rewards too, but nothing really stands out as something I really, really, really want. You know?

  What are some of your interests? Some good things for me would be a new book or fabric shopping. Don't forget about some of the intrinsic rewards too, being able to fit into old jeans, your first 100 crunches at one time, finishing a 5k, being able to walk upstairs without being winded... Celebrate the small rewards that you didn't plan too ;) emoticon
