End of Year Goals: 7th check in

Sunday (actually Monday) 6 days till the end of the year. What a year it's been. Lots of change and still more to come. Much improved body, healthy weight, muscle!!, smaller size clothes, new job, new dog, and more, all while sparking.

Weigh in: On Sunday, I was 145.4, yep a small gain. I didn't track at all on Thursday until the end of the day, then not much (if at all) since. Family gatherings, kids, hubby, and dogs have come first. Not that I haven't been paying attention to what and how much I eat. I have, just not entering it all into my tracker.

Fitness minutes: The lowest since I started Spark People in January!! 135, plus strength training. Pretty sad, but I am sure it was actually higher. We've done lots of extra walking that I didn't track.

Tracking food: FAIL, but it's ok. Sometimes tracking has to take a back seat. I'll be back to tracking today or tomorrow.

Healthy dessert option: Nope, but I didn't eat much dessert at our Christmas celebrations.

Yoga: I did show my sister how to do the crane pose. I'm finally able to hold it for 15-20 seconds. A few months ago I couldn't even get my feet off the ground. If you haven't heard of it, check here: www.yogajournal.com/pose

Orientation for my new job starts January 3rd, as long as my pre-employment physical goes well. They will also do a background check, though they are wasting their money :) Hubby will have a bigger adjustment though. He will not only be home with the kids full time, but also with the dogs. Rogue is very much a puppy and a bit challenging. She needs to chew a lot and gets very mouthy and playful. We keep trying different things to keep her busy and stop her mouthing. She's just like a teenager and a toddler wrapped in one.

    I once tried yoga poses and I didn't even can stand standing, twisting my body for more than 10s, maybe just 5s! And looking at that crane pose, I think I have long, long way to go and I much prefer Pilate, hehe.

So, how do you start do that Crane Pose, from time when you couldn't lift off your feet till now where you not only able to hold it 15-20s but show your sister how-to!
