What WILL happen this week
(written by my health coach)
One of 3 things WILL happen this week:
#1 You will lose weight. You will make a plan, stick to the program, feel amazing & be a healthier person. You will take all of these opportunities to get stronger. You will say "no" to anything not on your plan & "yes" to slimmer waist line. You will say "no" to sugars and "yes" to burning fat off your midsection. You will say "no" to anything not on plan & yes to that wonderful energy that comes with being in balance without hunger & cravings. Your focus will be on people, family, & friends.
#2 You will stay the same weight. You will be mostly on plan, but DECIDE and CHOOSE what you will have this week. You may use the 1 Tablespoon rule & savor the flavor of your favorite once-a-year dessert. You will feel powerful that you enjoyed the holidays without feeling deprived, but kept your health a priority. You will impress your friends with your healthy habits. You will DECIDE how much & what & get right back on plan afterward because you know what you want.
#3 You will gain weight. There are 2 ways to get here. 1) Decide on it. You will decide, "I am going to be off plan today & just eat what I want." You will join everyone else & eat what is passed to you. Or 2) You will not decide. You will "see how it goes" "go with the flow" and "find out what happens." Not choosing is a choice. You will not choose & automatically go to the "path of least resistance" and just what your genes are telling you to do: Eat while you can & store fat for the hard times. Either way, you can choose to get right back on plan & in a few days your body will learn how to burn fat again. And you can continue with your journey.
No matter what you CHOOSE. ENJOY this week. With 1, 2 or 3, you could feel bad about it. You could regret it. You could be thinking the whole time that you should be doing something else.
But "can I coach you on that?"....DON'T FEEL BAD. Be happy & enjoy whatever you choose! Have a Great Week! If you lose weight rejoice that you have done an incredible thing & become even stronger. If you stay the same, love that you can take life into your own hands and not be controlled by food. Love that you can enjoy & be the captain of your own life. If you gain, enjoy the week anyway. Savor every bite of anything you want. Embrace your decision and enjoy the journey. Think of how far you have come & all the good choices you have made.
Whatever you choose, know that you are loved & that you have a Health Coach that will meet you wherever you are and take you to wherever you want to go.
