Walk A Mile In Your Shoes

It still amazes me! No matter how tired or achy or even lazy I am, IF I just take that first step, put my hands on the wall for a push up- or even pick up the weights, that's ALL IT TAKES. 1 minute or 5 minutes is not enough. I want to keep going.

After tracking my food and no fitness points, I popped the dvd in the machine and an hour later I had 3.5 miles behind me. I'm beginning to understand how some of my Spark Friends are able to run, run and run some more. There is this drive that kind of takes over. Even at the gym, I've bike 3 times this week. 5 mile the first time, 10 the second and 12 the third. It's really crazy.

What is Totally Crazy is that only after using the Walking DVD a few days ago, I've decided to start a Walking Club at church/pre-school. It's already been advertised. Jan 4th is Women's Winter Walk - One Mile at a Time - can you believe it. To start out, it's just 2 nights a month but the possibilities are exciting. I think I must be nutz - I am certainly not a fitness instructor, but I can definitely pop a dvd in the tv and follow the leader well enough to lead others.

What a new adventure and beginning. This will be a very interesting venture.

    Hey that is very cool! What a great idea to start a walking club...exercise and fellowship, that sounds great, I hope you get a lot of ladies to come out. emoticon
