So I am finally over the most annoying sickness of all- 24 hour stomach bug. I came home from work Monday night, was starving, ate some delicious stir fry that my chef Father made, and then I felt like crap. Literally. I tried laying down, I tried drinking some powerade (sometimes this helps me when my stomach hurts), and I tried some Kaopectate (the most repulsive medicine I have ever tasted)...then at midnight I started throwing up...and it was bright pink (from pink medicine and fruit punch powerade) I couldn't help but laugh when I was done...it was the most pretty barf I have ever seen. Yeah I know I am a weirdo. Then I spent the whole night dry heaving. LOVELY. I am still sore from this whole ordeal...I'm pretty sure I threw my back out. But today I went back to the gym, did the elliptical and ran on the treadmill and I feel so much better! Hopefully this is the last stomach bug I will have for a while...and I must thank all of the elementary school kids for giving it to me, considering I have not been sick like this since HS when I was surrounded by kids, I must presume that those grubby little kids gave it to me.

I thought I lost like 200048484885 lbs from throwing up so much, but nope, I only lost 1 lb. At least it's something. I measured myself, which is so much more rewarding for me, and I have lost a few more inches in my thigh and upper arm...I just wish my numbers for my waist and hips will start moving!

Anyway, despite the fact that I was out of commission for a few days, I managed to finish all of the wrapping, and even was able to go to the store to pick up a last few presents. I even finished applying to grad school. And I officially graduated from Widener University on the Dean's list!

I probably won't have time to post for a week or two so I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a very joyful New Year! Thank you for all of your support through the last few months!
