This week is the first of the Biggest Loser Winter challenge, where my Yellow team is gonna dominate! Our first inter-team challenge (ITC) is to write a letter to ourselves about our goals and what we were going to accomplish this challenge. I'll write this blog for now, don't know if I'll be able to do a video blog (Right now it's 2 AM so shhh - have to be quiet, lol) but here is at least my letter to myself! :-)
how are you? It's now end of February 2012 and you have finished another challenge with the Yellow team. My goal for this challenge was to lose at least 10 pounds, so I hope you have been able to accomplish that and more! We know it's not all about the number on the scale in the long run, but for this challenge it does count! And it would just be great to see some visible results on the scale because that hasn't been the case for a couple of years, really.
I hope you have gotten quite a lot of fitness minutes in, especially kept up your ST streak, 30 minutes of ST per day, excused only by legit excuses, not when you're just feeling lazy! :) We have done good on ST but cardio is also a big thing. Hopefully you have kept up with my goal of at least three fitness classes a week and cardio in total five days a week.
A new experiment I wanted for this challenge, was to run a 5K each week on the treadmill and try and beat that time, and improve it by several minutes. I hope you were able to at least do this a few times and hopefully run faster and faster. Maybe you even discovered a love for running in the middle of it, who knows?
Either way, I know you have done a great job and not let me down. I can tell this challenge is going to be different for us, that we've done real changes. I hope you are ready for Spring now.
