Rude awakening #1: my scale and the doctors are a full 8 pounds off. I was so shook up this morning after my doctor's visit that I wished I could have come home and gone to bed. But I had a day charged with meetings and appointments. I got through appointment with my financial advisor, went to lunch with a friend-was pretty good "soup and two small cornbread muffins". After that I went for my hearing test, to be told I have to go back to the doctor's to get the wax removed before they can do a hearing test-rude awakening #2. I left called the doctor's office and must wait a week for an appointment. Went to my hair dresser's and took a nap.
Rude awakening #3 I failed already on my new goal for Sparkpeople!
Which reminds me my new goals are:
1 log in each morning and spend at15- 20 minutes a day recording foods and exercise. I hope to do a few minutes in the morning and than several more after supper.
2. Use the new pedometer and set my goal for 10,000 steps... I'm going to have to work hard on this one-especially on vacation.
3. For every set back, I'm going to get back on the wagon. I MUST lose another 15 pounds and I'd like to do it before my 6 months check-up with the doctor. So track, track and track.
