This is our first December on the west coast so we are trying new things and creating new traditions. Today we are tidying the house, baking, wrapping gifts and playing games with Kennedy. Tonight we are going on a Carolling Ship Dinner Cruise with some friends from out of town.
Tomorrow DD 2 and her family will be here for Christmas dinner, carolling and board games. Hubby and I are packing for Las Vegas, and flying there Monday to spend Christmas with DD1 and her family. On Boxing Day DD1 is having her baby, Sophie! We return home Jan. 6th and DD2 is having her baby Jan. 13th. So this is a very Merry Christmas for us! It's wonderful to have this time with family, there were some years in the north we were alone at Christmas.
Keeping Christmas is good, but sharing it with others is even better.
Happy Holidays Lynn. It certainly sounds like life is good for all of you. I am so happy you will be with family this year and the birth of TWO new grandbabies...WOW how wonderful that will be. Travel safely and savour every moment. I am so happy for you and the changes you have been willing to make to enjoy God's gift of life. God Bless you all.
Wait - are we going to be in Vegas at the same time?? C and I are staying in our time share leaving Friday 23 and returning Saturday 31. So wonderful you have ALL these memories to make with family now that you moved. PRICELESS in every way. Life could not be sweeter.
Sounds like you have a very interesting holiday season ahead of you. Two grandbabies coming and Christmas together with family. I have a GS born on the 13th of Jan. He will be 13 this yr. Enjoy them all you can because they grow up too quickly. Merry Christmas!
What wonderful exitement with family over the holidays! Babies are so very precious. That's what it's all about . . . making great connections and becoming stronger in our faith walks. WooHoo! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas and congratulations on the new grandchildren. I remember celebrating boxing day when we lived in Bermuda. It's not a well known holiday in the USA.
Enjoy your holidays. Our DD will be travelling home (we're in Kansas) from Winnipeg tomorrow. Her husband (still kind newly-weds) won't be able to make it.
WOW ! Talk about wonderful gifts for your family ! Enjoy setting those new traditions and celebrating through things that make you smile ! The best always to you and yours and the little ones coming your way!
