Pray that God will help you see opportunities to be a blessing to those around you this Christmas
Set aside 20 minutes each day to catch your breath and enjoy your Christmas tree. Turn off the lights in the house, turn on the tree and enjoy a cup of tea, as you put your feet up and turn on the answering machine.
As crazy as the holiday time is – keep up your regular physical fitness routine.
Answer your phone by saying, “Merry Christmas”.
If you are feeling harried and overwhelmed, go to a church, sit in the sanctuary, and reflect on the real meaning of Christmas. You will leave feeling more peaceful.
Remember that the loving holiday spirit in your home depends more on the words you speak then the material gifts you give.
Give someone who has disappointed you the gift of a clean slate.
Fill your home with the scents of Christmas: Pine, cinnamon, or fresh baked cookies
Build a snowman {if you have snow} and decorate the ourside of your home
Fill your home and car with the sounds of Christmas carols
Decorate the Christmas tree and your home as a family - you will create a family tradition the kids will never forget
Hang some mistletoe and kiss your loved ones when you find them standing under it
