A Very Good Person!! God Bless You Whomever You Are!!

Friday, December 16, 2011

My daughter that lives in MD just posted on FB that her husband went to the store to get out their kids layaway and this woman paid for his and two ladies that were in line behind him. She would not take no for an answer and paid them off. This is a true blessing as my daughter's DH lost his job and has not been able to find one yet. God bless this woman as only you know who she is. There are good people in this world and God blesses us with one of them over and over again. Had to share this with you because of all the bad things happening every day, it is always nice to hear of something good.

So glad that I know someone indirectly (your family) who benefitted! I saw a spot about this on TV just before Christmas, where people were paying off other people's layaways. emoticon

How lovely to hear! So glad she chose the right people! Hope he gets a job soon! My DH has been out of work since he was made redundant 2 and a half years ago. So I know the feeling well! I only have my GD to worry about with presents, the others understand! Hope you all have a blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

I have been reading these stories online, and to know that a very specific person, someone of my greater sparkfamily, was reached by this directly is awesome.

I listen to Dave Ramsey's radio show often, on my drive to work. A lady called in and told of how they rarely had enough money to pay for their meals at school, when she was a child. The lunchroom workers still served them, so they did get to eat. However, it was painful for the family to receive many notices reminding of how much they owed on the "lunch tab". Now, this woman anonymously donates money, in several schools, to pay off the lunchroom accounts of cash-strapped families.
Thanks to GrannySue and everyone for their examples of all the "little things" we can do to be a blessing unto others.

A 19 year old guy I work with was in McDonalds and paid for the meal of the elderly gentleman that was waiting inline next to him while he waited for his(my friend) food! There is still hope.... We are all here as a test,, for each other...

There was a news article about people going around this year and paying off lay aways for total strangers, hundreds of accounts have been paid off thus far and most were at K Mart and a few at Walmart. So there are still some wonderful people in the world today after all.
God Bless, Sandy
