AWESOME week! Plus good gym class

Friday's are my weigh-ins and measure days. Last week I gained a pound, but lost 0.75 inches. This week? This week rocked!! I lost 3 pounds, down to 158. Way way way more exciting than that though were my measurements. I lost 3.25 inches! In a week! That's awesome and I'm psyched! That means in 2 months now I've lost a total of 10 pounds and 13.75 inches!

Also, my arm ordeal is finally over. I snapped my humerus in half last February, and that took until June to be stable enough that I didn't need a sling anymore. Then, two weeks after I lost the sling, I fell again and snapped it in half again, half an inch below the first break. Another month and a half of hoping it'd heal, culminating with surgery in mid-August. After surgery I could do most anything I wanted with it, but I wasn't allowed to lift weights, do pullups, or mountain bike. Now it's finally considered "healed" (the bone is crooked, and I have an 8" steel plate with 9 screws holding it all together) and I can do whatever I want!

Xmas gift from my Dad: a couple months at a gym. Went yesterday morning, ran 4 miles, lifted a bit. Went this morning to a boot camp class. Conclusion: I have a pretty weak core. Therefore I'll be going back a lot to this class to strengthen those muscles!
