Where will you be this Christmas? Are you going home? Is there someone who wont be coming "home" who you will miss?

I will be home for Christmas and will be missing two of my children and their families - 3 of my grandchildren,too. My son lives in California - my daughter an hour away.

I will count my blessings and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus!

    What a beautiful article! It really made me stop and think of those who have nowhere to go, nobody to be with on Christmas! I hope there is someone I can cheer this Christmas! Our family does not arrive until Christmas Day (every single member!), so maybe when I get off on Christmas Eve, I can make a difference to someone. I'm going to pray about it and see if the Lord leads me somewhere. Thank you for this thought provoking blog!

    My kid and her kids live in Michigan and I H.A.T.E. the cold of winter, so I've not gone north for the holiday since I moved here in 1995. His kids will drop by for the obligatory 10 minutes and then they'll be off to their Mom's huge family gathering. I'll make a nice dinner for me and my husband and we'll watch movies and pet our kitties in front of a fire.
