any tips for feet!

Thursday, December 15, 2011

I love to work-out, we have an awesome turbo gym class that I would do everyday if I could but my feet hurt when I exercise, my dr says it's just age, and gave me something so the swelling would go down, which worked for awhile, righth now when I go to class my feet hurt and I have to keep stopping to deal with the pain, I switch my shoes, for my feet I stretch em, soak em, rub em, lol , I was wondering if anyone had any tips that would help, open to try anything that might help. thank you so much.

Be sure whenever you can during the day, to get your feet about your heart and consider sleeping with a pillow under your feet. Some of the pain may be from inflammation and this gives your feet a chance to drain away the lymph that helps clear inflammation.

I have the same problem, and like CEKER9 my foot pain wakes me up at night as well. I've tried the inserts, even had the foot and ankle doctor's nurse to tell me to re=lace my shoes. That being starting at the bottom and lacing through every other set of eyelets. It did actually relieve the pain for awhile.
Hope you find an answer and if you do you will share it with the rest of us.

I have the same or similar problem... the top of my feet by my toes are swollen all the time. When I go to bed at night they hurt and often keep me awake. I'm like you and "stretch em, soak em, rub em" and have gotten the shoe inserts and nothing really works very well... it all helps, but doesn't solve the problem. I am trying the alkaline diet as I'm told that will fix it... I'll definitely have to experience it to believe it... but right now I'll try anything!

Have you ever heard of walkfits? I have major foot and back problems, always have and I use walkfits in my shoes and they really help, especially when I workout. They are like an insert for your shoes and they help with your balance and help with the way you walk and move. They can be found online or I think Walmart or Kmart might sell them as well. I hope you can get some help for your feet.
