well, so much for a pound a week. Seems to be .2 pounds per week. My clothes are getting a bit looser and I'm getting more flexible and beat my personal running time. Just by a few seconds, but I did it. I think I'm starting to understand about not obsessing over the scale and numbers now. If I keep plugging along, doing my workouts and setting goals there, careful on food splurges (not feeling starved but still making healthy choices) and keep stretching to keep my back pain away, the weight should just take care of itself. I need to concentrate on my workouts and my food. Not the numbers on a scale. Too discouraging.
I think today I'll buy new running shoes for myself as an early Christmas present.
