30 pds Down and Showing Out

Wednesday, December 14, 2011

I can not tell you how absolutely happy I am that I have, as of today, lost 30 pounds from my heaviest weight ever. I feel like I was stuck in a bad dream for the last 12 years and I have finally found my way out.

I am like a little child with all the "first times" that I have been experiencing...

I am wearing a belt again for the first time in 15 years.
I can bend down and tie my shoes with huffing and puffing for the first time in whenever...
I can actually sleep on my stomach again for the first time in five years.
The list goes on and on...

It's only 30 pounds, and I have 90 more to go but I am so pleased.

Why didnt I do this earlier???!!!

emoticon That is awesome news. For me my small successes keep me going and when I need a little motivation I remind myself of how far I've come and the things I have accomplished big and small.

Keep up the good work, And Good Luck on the next 30. emoticon
