Plans for tuesday

Tuesday, December 13, 2011

Well as usual I'll get in my walks but will only do 2 walks because I'm going to give up my short walk to rake leaves. I did that yesterday too. Afterall I burn more calories in a half hour to an hour of raking leaves then I do in a half hour walk. After yesterday's raking of leaves, the yard is actually starting to show progress on leaf removal. Prior to that I didn't think that I was ever going to catch up on the leaves. Have a neighbor that's been complaining to me about all the leaves in my yard.... yet all of the leaves that are in my front ditches are from his trees because I don't have any oak trees in the front yard only 2 bradford pears, 2 maples and about 15 pine trees. This doesn't even mention the fact that he's got 2 people helping him get up leaves in his yard that is half the size of mine. Meanwhile I've watched the leaves blow southward from his yard to mine and to the farmland across the street. He thinks they've only blown to the farmland across the street because he can't see my yard from his unless he walks out near the street. I'm sure in the spring I'll be blamed for all of the leaves on the lot between me and this complaining neighbor....afterall that's what happened this last spring and they said at that time I should pick up their leaves too... but that's a lazy 500 pound lard a$$ saying that because he'd rather stuff his face w/food while watching others work. That neighbor just blows the leaves back into the woods and never picks them up then has the nerve to blame black snakes on me. What these people never seem to understand is that it's only me doing all the housework and yardwork because hubby won't help.... because he's too busy watching tv, napping and snacking while putting everything off until tomorrow. We all know about what happens when things get put off until tomorrow.... tomorrow never comes.
On a funny note, I put batteries in the xmas wreath on our door. It's startled me several times this morning. Evidentally the cars passing by are setting it off as it's turned on a good 6 times in the last half hour.... it's driving one of the dogs crazy... Oops it just went off again.
Will have the crockpot going again today. Am making beef stew out of the leftovers from yesterday's pot roast. Have to add more veggies to it, but that's not a problem.

Jsalerno.... you probably would be in a sneezing fit down here. I'm in the country so there's gobs of trees everywhere. Most beautiful one in the area is probably about 100 to 200 years old. It's an oak that at some point got struck by lightening breaking the top half of it off and so instead of growing upwards it grew outwards. Is probably a good 15 or more feet around at least towards the bottom. Wish I had a camera to take a picture of it. Would use it as a background on my sparkpage. Everytime I look at it I think "oh the stories that tree could probably tell"

I'D BE DEAD IF I HAD ALL THOSE TREES. TREES ARE ONE OF MY WORST ALLERGIES. I'M ALLERGIC TO 8 TYPES.
