New Year's attitude--Starts Now!!!

Monday, December 12, 2011

I spent the last year not logging in, not watching my weight what I ate. Thanks to a year of being so careless and not doing what I really want to do has gotten me back further than I had come. I learned that no matter whether it is for pay or volunteering somewhere I am and always have been a nurturer. When there were kids in the house I was content but when Kaelin decided to move back to her grandmother's I was stuck at home and was bouncing of the walls after just a few days. I managed to get a job where I could make a little cash for Christmas and at the same time fill some of my empty days. I hope to still be working after the holiday season but guess we will have to see. If not there are other large stores that are soon going to be looking for someone with experience. My New Years Attitude is just to be grateful for what we have and not worry about the stuff we can't swing right now. I remind myself every day to Love Lots, Laugh all I can and Live! I am overweight again but one of the managers said she loved me because I am always cheerful and do whatever they need done. She is young enough to be my daughter but she is my supervisor and I don't give them any mouth when they ask me to do something. I like the job and everything looks good. It might help that my son works there and has for 2 yrs. He got his great work ethic from me for sure, LOL. Gotta get started on hitting some friends pages and let everyone know that Nomi is Back!!!!

Good for you, go girl. I know where your coming from, I did the same thing with my weight in the past year, so I am now starting a new beginning. Good luck to both your weight and your job. emoticon
