My favorite holiday tradition is giving and receiving new pajamas on Christmas Eve.

My mom started this tradition and I have passed this tradition down to my kids.

My favorite tradition is having the kids wake up to their stockings placed on the end of their bed. When they wake up they come and get mom or dad and open the stocking gifts. This keeps them occupied so we can have a nice leisurely breakfast before digging into the big presents. My MIL started this when my hubby was little and we are carrying on with it.

Singing in our church's Living Christmas Tree, praising God and reminding everyone in the audience that without Jesus, there is no Christmas.

We always open gifts Christmas Eve. Have family over and eat cookies, coffee, tea, or punch. My children laugh because they know the always got new socks and under wear every Christmas.
The thing they like most of all, i always take a shoe box, decorate it and fill it with odds and ends of things they like, or want. flashlight, knife, watch, cups, baseball cards, jewerly, make up,anything i could think of that they liked. It was always the first thing they opened, and the last thing they were looking at after all was opened. and yes each year they got a new ornament. They would laugh because i put the date on for each year, now they go wow Mom do you realize what year you gave this to me, that's the year blah, blah,

My little sister and I like ordering in Chinese food and pretending we're Jewish on New Year's Eve. It's silly, but for some reason, it's stuck.

My whole extended family gets together on Christmas Eve...it's about the only time we get everyone in one place. I love it! Plus, one of my cousins dresses up like Santa for all the little kids.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!
