Feeling motivated and discouraged at the same time?

I don't know what's going on in this head of mine. I'm motivated to keep going. I'm making fitness a priority, and going to the gym is a habit now. But I can't defeat that voice that keeps focusing on the numbers. SHUT UP! So I'm asking myself questions today:
Do you feel like you have more energy? Yes, I do. I can go all day without feeling tired now.
Do you feel mentally better? Yes, I do. My mood has improved. After I workout or when I stay on track with my eating, I feel successful and empowered.
Do you feel physically better? Yes I do. I feel my muscles and my endurance improving every day.
So...what does this mean? This means that I need to be patient with my "results". This means that I need to continue to focus on the good feelings and the lifestyle changes that I have made. This means that I need to remind myself that this is a life long change, not a flash in the pan whim.
So there stupid voice. You've been served!
