This is an overview of November. The month got away from me so I didn't set any goals or blog.
Tech N9ne: I went to the Tech N9ne concert with my sister, and one of my nephews and one of my nieces on the 5th. We had a total blast. It's one of the best concerts I've been to. We all had a really great time. The music, the company, it was all good. I'm not sure how many of my fellow sparkers like hip-hop/rap/r&b but Tech N9ne can do it all. I've listened to his music for over ten years now, since I was in college in Kansas. (He's from Kansas City, MO about an hour from where I went to school.) It was so good to hear his music--I listen to it almost everyday but it's sooo much better in person. A lot of my friends were at the concert, so that made it even better.
Vampires: I finally went to see Breaking Dawn Part 1 after Thanksgiving. Another great time with family. I love the Twilight saga and vampires in general--I also love the True Blood series on HBO. So, basically our whole (coven) neighborhood went. There was about 20 of us, and it made the movie even better. I even went and saw it again with my cousin who hadnt seen it. Even better the second time.
More nephews: I had a great surprise this month. Two of my nephews came back from Washington for the Veterans Day pow-wow (they sing and drum) and stayed through Thanksgiving and their birthdays. I havent seen them since the end of summer. It may not seem that long to some, but we're very close and it's good to have my boys home.
All in all, November treated me very well. Especially on Black Friday. I didn't have as much money as I hoped to have, but I made do with what I had. A close friend of mine and I have been going together for the last three years. This was the best year yet. We kind of "winged" it and got some awesome deals. We were both very happy with what we bought. The hardest part is having to wait to give everyone their presents. I wanna give it to them all now lol.
So, the downside to the month is that I totally fell off the wagon (with food) and munched down hard. I noticed that my clothes are fitting snugger but I havent weighed myself yet. I know that I gained some weight. That bums me out because of the progress made in October, but I'll be alright. I just need to baby step it back on track. Thanks for taking the time to read about my month. I'll update for December soon. Spark on!
