Tech N9ne, vampires, more nephews and Black Friday

Saturday, December 10, 2011

This is an overview of November. The month got away from me so I didn't set any goals or blog.

Tech N9ne: I went to the Tech N9ne concert with my sister, and one of my nephews and one of my nieces on the 5th. We had a total blast. It's one of the best concerts I've been to. We all had a really great time. The music, the company, it was all good. I'm not sure how many of my fellow sparkers like hip-hop/rap/r&b but Tech N9ne can do it all. I've listened to his music for over ten years now, since I was in college in Kansas. (He's from Kansas City, MO about an hour from where I went to school.) It was so good to hear his music--I listen to it almost everyday but it's sooo much better in person. A lot of my friends were at the concert, so that made it even better.

Vampires: I finally went to see Breaking Dawn Part 1 after Thanksgiving. Another great time with family. I love the Twilight saga and vampires in general--I also love the True Blood series on HBO. So, basically our whole (coven) neighborhood went. There was about 20 of us, and it made the movie even better. I even went and saw it again with my cousin who hadnt seen it. Even better the second time.

More nephews: I had a great surprise this month. Two of my nephews came back from Washington for the Veterans Day pow-wow (they sing and drum) and stayed through Thanksgiving and their birthdays. I havent seen them since the end of summer. It may not seem that long to some, but we're very close and it's good to have my boys home.

All in all, November treated me very well. Especially on Black Friday. I didn't have as much money as I hoped to have, but I made do with what I had. A close friend of mine and I have been going together for the last three years. This was the best year yet. We kind of "winged" it and got some awesome deals. We were both very happy with what we bought. The hardest part is having to wait to give everyone their presents. I wanna give it to them all now lol.

So, the downside to the month is that I totally fell off the wagon (with food) and munched down hard. I noticed that my clothes are fitting snugger but I havent weighed myself yet. I know that I gained some weight. That bums me out because of the progress made in October, but I'll be alright. I just need to baby step it back on track. Thanks for taking the time to read about my month. I'll update for December soon. Spark on!

Welcome back! Bhealth is about more than the numbers on the scale. It sounds as though you had an excellent November and you've shifted your attention back to your health. Have as much fun and family in December, and simply add healthy choices in as well!

Wow, you did have a great November! Family, friends, Concerts, VD Pow Wow and even a movie with you coven (Tee Hee...like that).

Well, you know I struggled with the weight that slowing came on from Oct 31 to Thanksgiving. It seems to come off than a weekend comes and goes and boom it is back on. I really wanted those few extra pounds off before 12/31/11 since those were the pounds that broke my plateau. Oh well, such is life.

I always love vampires! emoticon I used to watched the Bella Lagosci movies since I was 6 or 7 years old. Holding garlic and wearing rosary beads! Freight Night, Love at First bite, Dracula (how many versions? All) Interview with a Vampire (all 3), actually I read all of Anne Rice's books, and of course their are a bunch of less popular books that I read and still do. Aah Twight light saga enjoyed it but still have never saw one at the movies, always wait for DVD. And as for True Blood....LOVE it!
