A Not-So-Lazy Saturday

Last night the BW mentioned that the grass is sort of long, so I was going to cut it today. When I went out to get the paper it had warmed up since yesterday, to 59 degrees, so after breakfast I went out to start cutting - and it had started to rain. It wasn't heavy but the grass is wet, so I'm taking the day off.
PS -Later it dried out, so I did cut the grass from 1:05 to 3:40. I made better than usual time because I didn't dig out many weeds. I mowed over most of them, and then went to Home Depot and bought a hoe, a three gallon sprayer (for Weed-No-More), and a 14 gauge extension cord that is 100 feet long. The cord replaces the one I had which got wrapped in twists so tightly that it is starting to actually split the casing in a couple of places. I put that in the attic for some sort of emergency use up there. We don't have many outlets, so a long cord can be useful.
