Yesterday I walked the dogs, starting at 11:20 because by then it had warmed up to 50 degrees. I wore long jeans, a long sleeved shirt, a t-shirt for underwear, and a hat to keep the sun out of my eyes and my head warm. There was a light breeze and a full sun. We were out nearly an hour, and my nose ran most of the time but my armpits were sweaty by the time we got back.
Today the BW and I went to Ikea in Tampa by the short route. Annie and Jerzy are coming next Thursday for three weeks, and the BW wanted a couple of chairs, sheets, blanket covers, etc. It was a 56 mile round trip the short way - all through the city - and each way took nearly an hour's driving. We also spent more than two hours in the store. Then I had to assemble the chairs and do a few other errands.
Yesterday I make a couple of gallons of bean soup and two loves of whole wheat bread, and before that I spent Tuesday and Wednesday teaching a safe driving seminar. It's called a class, but anyone who sits through it gets a certificate.
