My December goals are to take care of me.
If you have read a few of my other posts lately - I am feeling a bit down.
I am going to take care of myself by sleeping better, eating better, and exercising more - NO matter whatever else is happening in my life.
I have been doing good - My new thing for lunch is an iceberg salad with 5 croutons and a bit of taco sauce. My breakfast consists of Fiber one cereal and a cup of tea. Diner is one serving. I cook from scratch so it is all healthy.
As for the emotional me, I am taking time to read a chapter a day of different books. I already read a chapter of my bible and devotional - and spend some time in prayer. I am listening to Christian and Christmas music a few times a day. I am not stressing about the little things. I am taking the time to enjoy the moments of life - instead of zipping through everything.
The last thing: I am going to enjoy whatever time I get with my parents, children and my grandchildren this month. Savoring the time, counting my blessings.
