Quit Weight Watchers

Thursday, December 08, 2011

Next Monday is my last day with Weight Watchers. When I cancelled online a few weeks ago, I felt SO relieved! I had joined in March 2009 and simply didn't follow the program. After awhile, it just became pitiful. But I continued going because my best friend was worried about me and she is a huge fan of WW (she even works for the company). Also, the meeting I attended was a very active and vocal group, which is a good thing. But if I missed a meeting, they were all over me about it! That's a good thing, too. But I stayed with WW longer than I should have. Now I feel even more freedom because I can use SparkPeople to guide me and not have to go to what I called The Church of Weight Watchers. I often felt like I was at a church service and everyone was worshiping at the altar of points plus!
