I put this workout together Monday and I really enjoyed it. I wanted to do a circuit that I could tolerate, but was somewhat challenging. This is a 2 circuit workout that incorporates ST moves followed by 30 seconds of cardio. I do each circuit twice without resting and then take a minute break in between circuits. Keep in mind this is something tailored to me as I am pregnant and probably not suitable to most. I really enjoyed it though. Oh, and my burpees are quite modified. I basically do a regular burpee without the pushup and the jump at the top. I was tired afterwards!
Circuit One:
jump rope and jumping jacks for a good 1-2 minutes as a warm up
30 squats
jumping jacks 30 secs.
30 lunges alternating
burpees 30 sec.
single leg dead lifts, no wts. ( I have no balance...ha)
Circuit Two:
jump rope 30 sec.
bicep curls alternating by doing lighter wts.(5 lbs)/high reps one day and higher wts (only like 10lbs.)/lighter reps
jumping jacks 30 sec.
SB decline pushups 15-18
burpees 30 sec.
chest flyes followed immed. by chest presses 15 of each (same repetition with wts. like the bicep curls)
jump rope 30 sec.
lateral raises 13 or so of what I can tolerate (5lbs)
jumping jacks 30 sec.
shoulder presses 15 of 8lbs ( wt. changing same as bicep curls)
