Coffee Cream Update

I tried my coffee black and it was okay. Then I tried with 1% milk and I've settled into drinking it with 1.5 T of 1% and .5T of creamo (10%). Even though I'm not doing as well at this cold turkey thing as I wanted, it has made a difference in my weight. I've lost about 2lb in 2 weeks. Not earth-shattering, but for me it's pretty big.
So here I am at my 10-year lowest weight, but I've been here off and on since March. If only I could really have the discipline to eat clean right now I know I could break this plateau. But, alas, Christmas is upon us... Maybe my goal until January should be to maintain and then go at it with all my might!

    Oh, I keep trying to give up my half & half! But milk in coffee just isn't the same.... :(

    I have 1 cup of coffee a day(well, ok, 1 travel mug of coffee which is 12oz but because I pour it in all at once, I count it as 1 cup:) I have ALWAYS wanted to be a black coffee drinker and have tried and tried but just do not like the taste. Daily, I measure out 2 tbsp of half and half and LOVE my coffee this way. Week by week, you could eliminate a smaller amount of cream till you get there. Let me know how it goes. I would love to read success for you cause I just can't get there yet. I have eliminated that awful(which I always thought was delicious)flavoured creamer this year-one of my small clean eating steps. Hubby was in withdrawal for many many weeks and thought of it as a punishment-haha. He's settled in now. Anyways-sorry for the novel-can you tell all the kiddies are still asleep-LOL!     The best I have done with my coffee and still loved the flavor is the new holiday limited edition peppermint mocha sugarfree coffee mate (I totally snagged 4 bottles while it is here, hehe). Dunno if you like flavored coffees, but the peppermint is just the right amount, a hint of after sip cooling as opposed to drinking toothpaste, and the mocha part is not super sweet, more of a semisweet chocolate flavor as opposed to milk chocolate. Makes it nice and creamy too, and its lower in calories than my regular sugarfree french vanilla to boot.
