Wow! Has it been that long?

Tuesday, December 06, 2011

I can't believe my last blog was in October! Well since that time, I've been busy working with adoption stuff for our newest addition, playing with the other 2 boys and trying to squeeze in workouts with Holiday preparations and regular housekeeping issues. It's been a challenge.

My weight loss has slowed to a frozen crawl since the colder weather and new baby got here but I'm becoming more consistent with the little I can do. I may have to adjust my goals but I'll do the best I can with what I've got.

I have a question for my sparkfriends. I want to order the new sparkpeople cookbook but I don't know if I want to order the kindle version or not. Do any of you have the kindle version and if so, what do you think? Do you wish you had the print version with all the pretty pictures?

I hope all of you are having a great Holiday season.

Maintaining is better than gaining, and sometimes when life is hectic that may just have to work for now:) I haven't ordered the cookbook, I'm a very picky eater, but I've thought about the idea of cookbooks on a kindle. I think since I tend to lay a recipe on the counter while cooking, it's easy to splash liquid or food on it while mixing or whatever and that wouldn't be a good thing for electronics. At least with a book you can wipe it down and be done with it.

Our newest addition to the family is a girl :) I can't believe I have a little girl! Just another little miracle. They truly are everywhere.

I'm glad you brought up the kindle cookbook question. I always wonder what's best sometimes and I feel like cookbooks, craft books, and health and fitness books are better as the paper type. Kindles for regular reading material. But that's just me. Congratulations on the new little one! How exciting!

I haven't invested in either one, kindle or book yet. Let me know what you think of the cookbook-I want to get one so bad, but I have to wait til next year probably. Hope your holidays are memorable ones!

I don't have the kindle version, even though I have one, but I really like my book, but then again, I'm a book person. I don't even like reading magazines on the kindle. I'm just weird that way.
Even electronic recipes, I have to print off to use in the kitchen.
Whichever decision you make, it is a good book!!
