Start blogging my daily exercise Love Wii Swordfighting!

Monday, December 05, 2011

I received the Spark People Cardio Blast video for free on a bonus spin. So tonight I tried out the first segement. The ten minute walk. It is geared very much at beginners. It is a nice low impact workout.Easy to adjust up or down levels. Nicole is a cute gal and she is pleasnat to listen too. I have a hard time with those chipper, cheery women. Especially early in the morning.

I really wanted to do the 80s segment, but the DVD remote wouldn't work, so I had to do the first one. Reminder to self to get batteries.

Then off to play Wii Swordfighting. My arms hurt and I was huffing and puffing harder than I rememer in a long time. And it's fun. 15 minutes flew by. Love it. I can't wait to try Wii Zumba.

Did the 5 minute stability ball video. I had a heck of a time though. The third day in a row and my muscles hurt. I was more rolling around on the ball than much else. Thankfully the dogs weren't helping me tonight.

What to do tomorrow?

I have a friend that has wii fit. Maybe I will borrow it and see what I think. I haven't tried my Exerbeat yet. I need to use the wii zumba too. I just hate trying to figure new games out. I'm pathetic at being patient.

I just got my Wii with Fit Plus. I love I can do it at my own pace and tracking there helps here. If you have one use it, if not get it... It is Well worth the cost. I love the runs and the snowball fights. I also love you get a personal trainer( not Bob or Jillian) and you get to see a fitness bank that alows you to see that calories you have burned, IT meaures BMI as well as weight once a day. The Wii Sports Boxing Kicked my butt the first time...I get to lost in the game realize I am working out. Fit Plus also has Youga poses for Strength and Areobices for Cardio. You can add and subract from your own person reutines to work on what you need. It shows things you can do to work on problems areas, Lunch Ladies arms, they wave good bye when you do. I would recomend it. Go to a Game Stop ot gamers. the have pre-owned for under a $100. THe Fit Plus is cheaper as is a Balance board.

The Kinect looks cool. I ordered Wii Exerbeat and I hope it's fun to do. The swordfighting is more fun than any other exercise I've done lately. So I'll be getting good at it.

I love the Wii!! I like to play MarioKart with the kids, and love the wakeboarding game. We also got an Xbox Kinect. That one wears me out. I'm huffing at the end and reaching for water.
