Dash away - Week 1

I'm part of the Biggest Loser Challenge here on SP, and we're between rounds so some of us are participating the the Dash Away Challenge over the holidays, to help stay accountable... for the first week the challenge is to post a blog post about what my biggest challenge is over the next 5 weeks, and how I'm going to overcome it... so, this is it :)

First Challenge is getting more planned exercise into my week.

I have been wearing exercise clothes under my uniform - for warmth and to be ready to go. I meet with a trainer Tuesday and Thursday mornings and must incorporate more time during the week.

I went after work tonight and managed 3 miles, plus practicing several poses that I have completed with my trainer.

one of my goals is to decrease size of my waist - so I did lunges with a weighted ball.

Usually have yoga class on Monday, but teacher is gone until 12/22, so I am going to try to get to gym in AM.

Second challenge is to drink more water.
My goal is to finish 32 oz. in AM and another quart in afternoon.

Third goal is a group potluck each Sunday that I work. Today, I took a roasted
chicken and we finished it off at supper. Otherwise, I take veggies or salads, that I can eat.
