This week I hit the 7 month mark of my pregnancy.
My waist measures about 47 inches!! Sure, it's understandable because of what my body is going through, and really the only thing I can do is to improve my diet since I can't do a whole lot of ab-blasting intense cardio or running. But considering my waist measured 42 before I was even pregnant, I know I will have my work cut out for me in losing the excess belly fat after this body of mine goes through a second birth. So much muscle to re-build, so much water to drink...so many carbs to WATCH.
And I had a thought.
Today we were finishing up "winterizing" the backyard, which is quite the hangout spot for extended family over the summer!! Even though I TRY to keep a positive attitude about this every year, it leads me to major stress sometimes. I have even said that I hate summer!!!
So to fix that, I decided that my focus this summer is going to be on running. I haven't made time for it for so long, and it's something I need to do for my body. It's something I have to do by myself, and separate from all of the people and things that bother me. It's going to lead to great results.
