Day 155 after Transplant. 50 lbs from Heaviest weight!

My new form of counting days is from my Transplant day (July 1) being day 0, and July 2 as day 1, etc. That's the way they count it at the hospital, at least. It represents my new life without a ton of medical problems.

I lost albs this week! I am now at 243. I cannot remember the last time I weighed 243. After I write this, I am going to go try on my size 18s to see if they fit comfortably yet. Before, pre-transplant when I was 245, they fit, but they were tight. Even though I'm only 2lbs from where I was before, I feel like my muscles are toner now, and so maybe I will be smaller haha. Idk.

I am 6 lbs away from my "no longer severely obese" goal and 41 lbs away from my "no longer obese " goal. emoticon emoticon -- That's honestly how I feel. If I tried on my size 24s I wore my senior year of HS and freshman year of college, they would probably fall off. Actually, I don't even have them anymore - I passes them on to my mom haha.

Another success - I am starting to eat my regular amount of food, and eat at least 5 freggies a day without really thinking about it emoticon Now, instead of trying to find what won't make me go over my calories, I am trying to find foods soI can meet my minimum.

Also, I can see little progresses in the gym. For example, I have upped the difficulty on the treadmill. They have pre-set workouts I do, and I am now officially on the 2nd one. Also, I have been upping the amount of weights I'm using. For example, yesterday I went to use to hip abduction machine, and after the first set, I couldn't feel it, so I got to increase the weight emoticon

Here'a a non spark related success - I was re accepted into college this week, and I made my schedule. I have 18 credit hours scheduled, but I have done 18 successfully before, and it will mean I get to graduate in Music, and then hopefully start my human nutrition degree in the fall emoticon

Choral Union
20th Century Music
Introduction to Human Nutrition
Families Across the Lifespan
Piano Lessons
Voice Lessons
Capstone Study

AND, I've planned my classes so I can go to the gym on MWF, and get a good walk around campus on TR (R means Thursday)

    You have such a good attitude and such a spark! Way to go losing and staying on track! Lean muscles do help!! Good luck with all those classes! Makes my head hurt just thinking about all those hours studying :) Hope you have a great week!!
