So much has gone on since my last blog. My mother died in late July after a relatively short (7 month) history of lung cancer. I've been back to NY three times, June, July and August. I spent time before, during and after my mother died. My daughter's senior year in high school began in August soon after we returned from the funeral. Emily has been in the midst of a busy senior year with all the college applications and such. So much stress! So much inappropriate eating! So little exercise! Lately the return of wicked GERD symptoms and higher blood pressure numbers. The return of having to wear bigger-sized pants. I've done so well for 18 months only to have such a backslide in only 4 months. I know the remedy. I can get back on track. I have to get back on track.
Here is my plan. Next week starts the newest version of PointsPlus at Weight Watchers. I vow to give the new program all I have for the next month. I'll track on SparkPeople and in my WW journal. I'll get back to some level of exercising by walking. I'll curb my stress the best I can without resorting to eating. I'll get at least 7 hours of sleep a night. Could use all the support and encouragement I can get. Thanks!
